Manny Pacquiao ends the Trilogy!
This would just be another entry in the blogsphere talking about Manny Pacuiao and how he gobbled Erick Morales.
I was tuned in on 3 radio stations on the AM band – DZXL, DZBB, and DZMM. Plus i was also watching the ABS-CBN coverage and Solar Sports (on cable).
I was texting my friends.. giving them updates on what’s happening…
I had goose bumps when Sarah Geronimo (Michael Buffer said JE-RON-IMOW) was singing the Philippine National Anthem.. It was like she was the proudest Filipino at that moment.. She had the passion.. Her words was so crisp!
Round one..
It was the usual round.. where each boxer would wait for the other to try and make a hit.. It was a good and exciting first round..
Round Two…
Tension was building up.. i was one of those waiting for a knock-out punch from pacman… And there it was… Morales was hit and went down.. Good thing it was nearing the end of the round.. Morales had the chance to take a breather…
Round Three…
At this point, i was hoping for another knock-out.. and pacman delivered! 2 Knock-out punches which made Morales look at his Dad (his manager) and shook his head.
Remember Puss ‘n boots in the movie Shrek 2? When he was about to be caught by the soldiers, he had a sad look in his face as if he was begging for something.. That’s how i see Morales’ face yesterday.. I even told my friends ” Muka siyang adik!”
This are the times when i feel I’m proud to be Pinoy.. Yes.. there is this feeling in me.. a happy feeling and very Jubilant. A shivering feeling and like i feel i wana cry…
Some people are saying “lumalaki na ulo ni pacman”. I don’t think so… I think he’s just being a normal person.. He’s winning.. so he can boast about it.. IF he feels that he can knock-out a fighter, then why keep quiet about it?
But wait.. when will pacaman retire? when he suffers the same consequences as Morales?
Will pacaman submerge himself in the world of politics?
Whatever his plans maybe, i hope that he’ll stay as dedicated, focus and good as he is…
