We’ve got a new flavor in town….
Manila’s light alternative 103.5 K-Lite now becomes Heart 103.5 fm.
They started broadcasting last January 1, 2007. I visited 103.5’s Website and there is a small announcement box on the right side of the screen/page that says: A NEW SOUND IS COMING SOON… 2007
The new sound…
Heart 1035…. easy listening… the way it should be…

Heart 103.5 fm is now known as MAX FM.
who knows.. after 3 months… they’d be K-lite again!
It’s pointless to debate over which station is number one or which DJ is the best. It’s all a matter of taste. The younger crowd may actually like MAX FM and its MAGIC-esque format in terms of djs and music, but it’s still a turn-off for older listeners like me who got into K-lite because of the 80’s and 90’s music it used to play and the djs who seemed to enjoy the music as much as I did.
Anyway, if there’s any campaign out there aiming to bring back k-lite, count me in!

I’m listening to Max FM right now and except for Carl who was from K-Lite, the programs are from Magic because Sgt. Pepper holds the copyrights to those shows.
The only program I like listening to is Carl’s because he plays old songs, which other stations don’t do everyday.
Micky, who was from K-Lite and Heart, is now heard only on weekends from 10 am to 1 pm, as well as on Green Archer Radio on Monday nights.
Lia, who was from Heart, resigned from the station and is now full-time with Basketball TV.
I hope Max maintains its own identity and not be just a Magic clone. Bring back Vitto Lazatin!
when klite bowed out of the airwaves, i tried heart 103.5 a chance. but it didn’t quite worked out.
i retreated from listening to the radio just to spare myself of music they were trying to force you to listen to… and of course those irritating jocks from mainstream fm.
for most of the time, i indulged listening to music stored on my ipod but occasionally listened to jam 88.3 and magic 89.9 for good stuff on weekends.
while scanning my car stereo last week i chanced upon on back in the old days cafe, and i was quite surprised that heart 103.5 had actually changed format and i actually liked the programming they are offering (and maybe i stayed too much inside a cave for awhile).
however, when i tried listening during daytime i realized that they actually dabble in different genres. – some of they nice and some of them not.
i wish they will devote more time to alternative music which the old klite used to offer.
one more thing, i was quite elated to hear that vitto from old klite gang is on board during saturday mornings. it gave me more reason to listen to fm radio nowadays.
to the guys at max fm, good luck and more power (and more alternative music please!)!
Hey, anyone saw the MAX FM tarp on Rob Pioneer? I can’t help but notice Vito. Yeah, the mainstay of 103.5. And another thing, Micky’s kinda missing. Where the heck is Micky??
i saw max fm’s billboard over at robinsons. couldn’t believe seeing vito in it. so glad he’s back on 1035 along with Carl and Micky. it igves me some reason to tune into fm again.
i am actually an avid fan of klite since high school… and now that i am working i still couldn’t get my ears off 103.5…it’s transition from klite to heart… to MAxville but still i listened to it…pero siyempre mas gusto ko yung original coz dito lang ako nakakarinig ng mga songs na inyo lang talaga compared to other stations na paulit ulit mo ng naririnig… and its kinda irritating sometimes…lalo na kung in. I really do miss klite…
hi there folks. how ya been? well, i kinda missed the “old k-lite” nevertheless 103.5 still lives in my heart no matter what happend. you know from k-lite to heart-fm and now max-fm and am pretty sure it does`nt end there. perhaps K-LITE will be back lol. wherever i may roam i have my “103.5″ over at streamingthe.net *sigh* thanks god. be safe folks muc love ASH..
