Funny Name: Bibingkinitan

Saw this at the lower ground floor of SM Mega Mall:
Bibingkinitan comes from the words “bibingka” and “balingkinitan”.
Bibingka (Flat Cake) is a rice cake similar to the Western pancake in appearance (see more here: Bibingka and puto bumbong)
Balingkinitan is slender in english.
So bibingkinitan means slender flat cake? nope… bibingkinitan means mini bibingka – that’s what the sign says.
Have you heard of bibingcrepe?
