Mobile applications (J2ME Phones)

October 24, 2007

Its been a while since i’ve posted applications for mobile phones.

Here is batch 8  another batch of mobile applications, 4 of the mostly requested apps!

This can be used for Nokia 6233, 6234, 6300, and even on some SE phones.

1. Original Nokia converter

2. Original Nokia World Clock

3. Mobile Doc – View word and excel files on your mobile phone.

4. PDF Viewer – view pdf files on your mobile phone.

I’ve uploaded the file in mediafire so you guys wont have a hard time downloading.

Reminder:

Always give the application “access” to read and edit data on your phone. you can do this by going to the application (do not open it) then click options then application access, then choose data access, then add edit data.

Enjoy!

Other applications and games here.

    Hi migs,
Thanks for a hope. Hope we could use pdf viewer in Sony Ericsson.
I do have K790i. I have installed this software. And i noticed some points.

    1) It has size limitation.
    2) It will not open images properly.
    3) It does not show language properly. I mean i have had converted english book. But when i tried to open it in mobilepdf it shows me some symbol instead of books content.I can’t read it.

Hope there will be any sure way to come out of this.

    Regards,
    Parag

Regarding the error reported above by Thirucumaran (“java.io.IOException: Error in HTTP operation”), I’m getting the same thing when I run a custom Java application on my Nokia 6300. I tried the solution suggested by MIGS (to grant data access) but it’s not working.

Gmail and other apps work fine on the phone, and so does the browser.

    Any more ideas?
