After filling up our tummies… everyone settled down as I introduced the next speaker.

Kim Castillio, a blogger, DJ, a singer, who owns southism.com gave a talk on transition from “Emo” to “Niche” blogging. She is a member of the organizing committee and was the one in-charge of the registration. So maybe some participants were surprised to see her in front. I kept on signaling Kim to go in the middle. But I guess she likes it beside her laptop (hehehehhe). I think she was very nervous because she was talking too fast. Hmmm.. maybe because she drank 2 cups of coffee before her talk.. hahahha

There were a lot of domain names and hostings to be given away.. I think we gave more than 20 of these. Blogie would tell me.. “we’ve got additional prizes to give”. so you see our generous sponsors really loves bloggers. They kept on giving out freebies for everyone.

The next to give his talk was Jayvee Fernandez of A bugged Life about Problogging and new media. He had some problems with his presentation. I think his Mac was not compatible with the Sony projector (hahahha.. just kidding.) Jayvee was also with the organizers and volunteers the night before the event documenting our preparations for the summit.

We had fun watching Jayvee’s presentation especially seeing those handwritten notes.

The next speaker is another “bigatin” when it comes to internet/blogging. Marc Macalua, the Father of SEO Philippines. He’s well known here in the country and around the world. He gave a talk on How to Optimize Your WordPress Blog for Top Search Rankings. I was surprised to hear Marc greet everyone in bisaya. I think he’s from cebu (i’ll have to confirm that).

I’m really surprised that 95% of those inside the venue were listening to every speaker ( only 95% coz i wasn’t paying that much attention, and so are other organizers who were liveblogging the event). You see, all the talks given were really interesting. And all the speakers were that good in delivering what they wanted to convey to the listeners.
