Inside the Mindanao Bloggers Summit (part 5)

After all the talks were done, the event gave the opportunity for all the participants to ask questions from the speakers and invited guests.
The panel was composed of Jayvee Fernandez, Marc Macalua, Andrew dela Serna, Abe olandes, and Bob Martin.

I was afraid that participants might be hesitant to voice out their questions. I was thinking maybe they were shy, or doesn’t know if the question to ask is appropriate or not…
At first, it was like forcing people to ask a question (like i have a knife in front of them saying “ask… or else”). But when i asked again after the 3rd question was answered, I saw a lot of hands being raised. I had a lot of questions in mind, about 10. As a back-up if ever people wont participate => But they did. So I only got to ask 3.
One question I wanted to ask the panelists was “How do you build your blogging credibility?” Coz you see, anyone can blog. But what makes you build up your “supporters” or subscribers?
The panelists were very much open to all the questions. They even divulged their earnings when asked how much they earn.
Past 4:00pm: Although I still saw some hands being raised, I opted to ask the last question. I asked for their message to all Mindanao Bloggers.
And before 5:00 pm, the event was over. Everyone was reminded that there will be an after-event-party at Casa Habana.
ITS POSING TIME! (I’ll post the pics as soon as i’ve uploaded them)
Here are some blogs that shows pics of the event: Dabawpinoy, My Davao city, Nierva.com
Update: 10/30/07
Some autograph signing…
The organizers had to stay behind to clean up – bring down the banners and keep other materials that we used.
We were all out of NCCC after 5:30pm. Blogie and I were headed for Casa Habana.

The crowd definitely threw us an interesting set of questions. It was nerve wracking. To think I needed to pee so badly that time. Hehehe.
Kaya pala ganon hitsura mo sa mga fotos, Drew!
I can see that this is the MBS mentioned in B.M.’s website. I came across his mindanao.com site recently. I just started my http://zylla3.wordpress.com and I found Kirsty’s blogsite (linked from mine) that candidly discusses her earnings and the rest of the monitizing stuff that I wish I had known earlier.
