Thank You - Mindanao Bloggers Summit
This is the last part of my posts regarding the recently concluded Mindanao Bloggers Summit.
And this is the part where I say thank you…

All the speakers were pro-bono - meaning, they all gave a talk for free. That’s how generous these people are. They wanted to help their fellow bloggers.
Even the organizers and volunteers of the event were not paid. But as token of appreciation, each one got something, like a Google notebook, or Google pen.
Thank you to our generous sponsors:
For the overwhelming lunch! May natira pa after the program!
For the food at the party!
Councilor took a break from the 4 corners of the council hall to educate our bloggers.
Thank you for all the hosting prizes!
Participants were able to liveblog because NCCC uses Globe broadband. what broadband network do you use?

This event helped us to get a “bigger picture” of blogging specially here in Mindanao. And also, this event gave us the opportunity to know other bloggers - put faces on those blogs that we read, learn, and have fun.
As ariel lalisan of Homeward bound puts it:
I went home happy and inspired to keep blogging.
Until the next Mind-Blogging event!

Lemme add to this…
Dimsum Diner also voluntarily provided the drinks, even without our asking for them.
Fwendz Diner for the food we had during the Pre-MBS1 Workshop, for the use of the video camera and the other LCD projector during the Summit.
ArtCom Printing and Cubepixels Design Studio for the printing of our posters.
Snap Graphic & Sign for the printing of the 10×10-foot stage backdrop tarp.
Motorcycle Davao for the vodka that got me drunk at the after-party.
Eric Clark Su for the design of the stage backdrop tarp, and a bit more.
Advantage Productions for the video coverage of the fellowship night.
ACT for Peace Programme, together with PDI’s Mindanao people, helped facilitate the Pre-MBS1 Workshop and formulate the Summit Resolution.
Swiss Deli not simply for “food”, but for the excellent sausages and assorted cold cuts at the party! They also gave me a box of really good South African wine (Libertas, Merlot), because they love me.
Casa Leticia for the 3-night accommodation of one of our speakers.
There we go! We were truly fortunate to have had such generous sponsors!!
