Branded Dual Phone now in the Philippines

Saw this one on A Bugged Life.

2 new mobile units have been launched.. their edge… they can accommodate 2 sims.

The Duplii and Twin from Verzio.

Well.. i’m sure you have seen phones out there that can have 2 sims… but i think, what makes this product different from those is the quality and service that theCompany Verizo can vouch for their products.

There are a lot of “china phones” nowadays, and yes its a hit.. but as one commenter experienced, there’s no support for the product.. he can’t update his software and he can’t install other applications for his phone..

Some specs for the Dupli

Duplii
3G Tri-Band Dual SIM Phone
Candybar design
Simultaneous dual SIM standby
Bluetooth 2.0
Data transfer via USB
3G video conference and calls
FM Radio
2.0MP camera
microSD expandable memory

It will be sold for P15,000

This from Sun Star Davao

Equipped with 3G and tri-band capabilities, the Duplii enables video calls and conferencing, high-speed data access and multimedia streaming. This allows anyone to roam around the world even in countries such as the United States and Japan.

Duplii also boasts having the combination of QualComm and Philips NXP processors, which are long-life platforms designed for minimal power consumption. It comes with an FM radio and a real value 2 mega-pixel camera, contrary to usual interpolated lens sensors. The handset is further capable of PC Sync, allowing full data synchronization including contacts.

Twinn
Triband EDGE Dual SIM Phone
EDGE connectivity
Slider design
Bluetooth
Touch screen with stylus
microSD expandable memory
1.3MP camera

This one will be sold for P12,000

Samsung has also a Dual Sim Phone. I wonder when will it be released here…
