Peso 47.12 = $1 today?

2007 December 3

That’s according to the Daily Tribune.

tribune.jpg

Check out the right side of the page. It says P47.12 = $1.

I immediately checked other news sites to confirm:

Philnews.com ,Philstar.com , Inquirer.net

And all those site that I checked says that for today, the $1 = P42.75.

So, maybe this is just a forecast of the Daily Tribune. Its already past 3pm.. Does that mean that they’ve had that data since the PSE closed?

By the way, i already sent them an email.. Unfortunately, if you click their CONTACT link on the top of the page (http://www.tribune.net.ph/contact.html), it gives an error: Object not found!

Good thing there’s a link on the bottom of the page that says email the webmaster. I clicked on it and a contact form popped up. :)

Unfortunately still…. my email returned an error:

<Webmaster@tribune.net.ph>: User unknown in virtual mailbox table (in reply
to RCPT TO command)

<nco@tribune.net.ph>: maildir delivery failed: Sorry, the user’s maildir has
overdrawn his diskspace quota, please try again later.

Oh well, at least I tried to inform them.

Update: 12/4/07

As of 8am today, they seemed to have fixed it.

nice niche, but don’t you think capturing an image of it would be better for us readers?

press Print+Screen if you are using windows or linux, gives you a captured screen and so the world may know that some editors get lazy too at times, LOL :)
