Mobile Phone: Application access set to not allowed
December 27, 2007
I have received a number of inquiries (or should i say complaints?) from cellphone users (not just 6233 users) regarding this message: “application access set to not allowed”.
When you are opening an application on your phone and this message appears, it means that the application is trying to access your phone’s contents and you haven’t allowed it to do that.
So how do you solve this?
Easy… allow the application to access your phone..
How?
- Go to the application (don’t open it).
- Click OPTIONS
- Choose APPLICATION ACCESS
- Choose DATA ACCESS
- Choose ADD EDIT DATA
- Then set it to “ask every time”
That should do it.
If you still experience errors, then that’s another problem :p
