In 2006, Connectivity Unlimited Resource Enterprise, Inc. (CURE), was the 4th 3G network accredited by the National Telecommunications Commission here in the Philippines.

They are to roll out their services by this year.

They are in talks or maybe they have already made a “collocation” agreement with the existing telcos.

“Collocation is our idea to avoid duplicating the existing infrastructure,” said CURE President Eric Recto. Building a cell site costs around P5 million to P7 million and requires the operator to complete at least 26 local and national permits before it can put up a site. – Philippine business

They also have a trial program where users will be able to test the CURE 3G network.

Head to the CURE website for more info.
