The great Baguio vacation
I have been to Baguio City several times now. But my trips were mostly business related. So I don’t get to go to famous spots in the City. And you need at least 3 days to really go around the city.
Just recently, I visited the Summer Capital of the Philippines. This time, I wasn’t “on duty” Its my Vacation. And at last, I got to see the famous places in the City.
I have done a more detailed post about my Baguio trip which is posted in my other blog – What I See Is What I blog.
I was with my girlfriend. We boarded the Victory Liner Bus at 3AM.
We arrived in Baguio at around 9AM.
We stayed at the City Travel Hotel. Good thing they had a promo that day. We got the nice rooms for less.
Our first stop was Burnham Park because it was just right across the hotel! Walking distance to the park.
Then we went to SM Baguio.
Then we went to Baguio Cathedral.
We ended our first day in Baguio in Burnham Park.
The following day was hectic.. we had one day to visit as many locations as possible. =p First was Baguio Botanical garden.
Next was Wright Park which was walking distance from the Botanical garden.
Thenwe went to the so called ‘Malacnang of the North” – The Mansion – which was just beside the park.
Our next stop was Mines View park.
And then we went to Lourdes Groto which is on the other side of the City.
After that we went to the Bell Church- a chinese temple.
We were supposed to go to the strawberry farm, but we had a hard time getting a cab. So we decided to go back to the hotel instead.
The final day of vacation was dedicated for buying Vegies and fruits. Baguio is known for its strawberries and FRESH vegetables.
That’s it. 3 days in one blog! hahahha

parang gusto ko ng pumunta jan !!!!!!!!! hehehe

Glad you enjoyed your visit to Baguio. You should have visited La Trinidad and Tam-awan Village as well (opposite the Lourdes Grotto, on Quezon Hill). Baguio is still quite a unique place, even with all the “improvements” brought about by so-called progress…
Also, I’m glad you did not mention “ukay-ukay”… There is certainly more to Baguio than this!
Hehehe. =)
this a place where you cant forgot coz of the original beauty …..everybody wishes to live and stay here in baguio…..tnx for those who appreciated the summer place……….
