My wife-to-be received this email.
She sent this to me and asked me if this was true. The moment i read it, i immediately felt that it was a scam. I googled around and found out that it really was one.

Always check/ask around/search the internet first before believing or replying to these kinds of emails.

I received a text that I won 215,000GBP. I mailed them and gave them my details including a Scanned copy of my I’d card. It was when they asked me to pay money into an individual account as cost of courier that knew it was scam. I did not give them any money, I need to know my to protect the personal information I have sent to then so that they don’t use my details for their selfish goal.

I think Nokia corp as a corporate body ought to come up with a definite advertorial warning people to beware of these scammers. They cannot keep mute while fraudsters are using their corporate name to reap people of their hard earned money. This is what I term recklessness at d highest order.
