My blogger friend Dom saw a Neo Explore X1 formerly known as Neo Classmate) in one of the computer stores here in Davao City.
It looks like an OLPC!
Its supposed to be a competitor of the Asus Eee PC… but based from Dom’s review… i think only kids will like it.

Executives from Globe Telecom and Smart Communications stressed that their mobile networks are secure, but they both admitted that it is not impossible for someone to eavesdrop on mobile phone conversations.Reiterating his testimony at the Senate, Isberto admitted that it is not easy to record conversations passing through mobile networks. Over at PC Corner, the 9 inch UMPC Eee PC is being sold for P33,800.00 (8GB).
Ok, so the 7 inch - 4 GB unit is less than P19,000.00. Now that it added 2 inches + 4 GB more, it went around P14,000 higher? Isn’t that’s too much?
