Nokia is also doing research in making mobile phone chargers environment friendly – using less electricity i guess.

This concept explores ways to reduce the energy that is wasted when chargers are unplugged from a mobile device but left plugged into a live mains socket

    In the US, Nokia has a simillar program called WE RECYCLE.

    Maybe they can add a drop off point for donating your unwanted but still usable cellphones. Now that is real recycling up to 200% minimum.
