Smart SIM Connect

2008 June 25

Smart Connect For those who just bought a new smart sim and wants to send MMS or use GPRS or video call via 3G, you’ll first need to activate you MMS/GPRS/MMS settings.

The usual way of doing this is to send a text message containing specific activation message to a specific 4 digit number or  by calling the customer service hotline of Smart . But not every one knows how to activate it thru text and you’d have to wait for a minimum of 10 mins on the line before you could to to a Customer service agent.

But not anymore.. coz now, there’s Smart SIM Connect. It’s part of the new services by Smart called Smart connect.

With SIM Connect, subscribers can access Customer Care services all straight from their Smart SIM cards.

Your SIM Connection to Customer Care through the SIM MENU! Now, you can access Customer Care Services like Call and Text Card Status, Call Reconnection, International Roaming Activation or Deactivation and more through your own SIM Menu

The SIM Connect Menu is initially available to SMART Buddy and Talk N Text subscribers with a 64k memory SIM and up. Subscribers can avail of the SIM MENU by simply texting GET MENU to 9888.
