UMPC with optical drive worth more than P50k

I blogged about a UMPC with a DVD drive last April. Its called the SR8KPO6S from Kohjinsh. But it didn’t have a price yet.

Not until today… Brace yourselves….

The Kohjinsh SR8KPO6S costs $1,399 or more than P50,000 ($1 x P43.00)

WHOAW!

That’s expensive for a UMPC. Oh, actually, its a tablet PC…

And i thought it would be cheap.. This was my second choice, the HP Mini being the first. But with this price.. i might just settle for the HP Mini.. but i wont buy one now.. I think its still expensive,,, i’ll just wait for the HP Mini to go down to less  than P20,000. I’m sure it will.

Or maybe I’ll get the MSI Wind instead.. but i heard rumors that it costs more than 30k.
