Is China proving to be the Land of the Fake?
Fake voice” and “Fake olympics opening Singer” are making the headlines today.

Its about China’s decision to swap 9 year old Lin Miaoke instead of 7 year old Yang Peiyi to sing at the opening ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Lin lip synced her way into the hearts of those who were watching the event. But it was not her voice that they heard.. but the voice of Yang.
Here’s the actual video of Lin singing lip syncing…
This is now creating an uproar both in China and around the world.
The reason for the swap is because Yang (the original singer) was not FLAWLESS… err.. not good looking in front of the cameras. Wow…. what a reason. Hahhahaha
But let me make it clear that its not the child’s fault. And i’m not writing this to put blame on the child. It’s those “all knowing” and wise men from China’s Government and Beijing’s Olympic committee where we should point our fingers to.
Lin is only a victim. But i’m sure you’ll agree with me that she can’t be separated from this controversy. We can’t put her aside beause she is like the main character of the story. And China is only the director and/or producer.
In fact, people have started creating their own version of the fake voice. Watch this…
A video showing Lin singing the Star Spangled Banner
This one is said to be Lin’s original voice..
Oh, another “fake” news about the olympics is that China admitted digitally enhancing and inserting giant footsteps created using fireworks going to the Bird’s Nest on one of the videos during the opening ceremonies. But that’s ok. What’s not ok is telling everyone it was real. =p
In the mobile world, China is known for their mobile clones.
Hmmm… what else is fake in this year’s Summer Olympics? Hmmmm…. maybe thier medals… or or or.. maybe yao ming has been cloned? wahahhahaha

Merong mga gumagawa ng fake…
…at merong bumibili ng fake.
Is China proving to be the Land of the Fake?
Well….
They just DID….
I’ve watched the whole opening ceremonies, and it was too good to be true. Minsan pa nga naiisip ko “totoo ba iyan?” especially on the awesome stage performances showing off China’s rich culture.
YUng sa fireworks pwede pang pagbigyan kung digitally-enchanced, pero yung kay Lin hindi ko inaasahan na pepeke-in pa nila, hai naku!
Who cares? This is nitpicking.
This is the best opening ceremony ever.
No nation can top it unless they’re willing to spend that much money and resources.
Nye! China talaga o… tsk tsk tsk
How come the video is no longer available?
