Latest windows update deleted my audio driver
I was wondering why suddenly, my laptop didn’t have sounds. I’m using conexant HD-audio SmartAMC HD2.
I checked the hardware and it was disabled. I checked the event logs to see what caused it to be disabled but found none.

However, i remembered installing the windows update which windows was bugging me to install NOW (you know, that dialog box that keeps on popping up asking you to install now or later).

I’ve checked some forums and they also had the same problem after installing a windows update (not necessarily the same as the ones i enumerated above).
Good thing there’s a ROLL BACK DIVER option. I clicked it, and in less than a minute, my laptop is loud again. However, i noticed a big difference in the sound. I think this is another case of Driver problem with my Compaq Presario Laptop.
UPDATE:
Every time i will start/restart my laptop, i have to rollback the driver. WAAAAAAAAAAAAA
