Cnet.com has compiled the SAR ratings of Nokia phones.
According to the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA), specific absorption rate, or SAR, is “a way of measuring the quantity of radiofrequency (RF) energy that is absorbed by the body.” For a phone to pass FCC certification, that phone’s maximum SAR level must be less than 1.6W/kg (watts per kilogram). In Europe, the level is capped at 2W/kg while Canada allows a maximum of 1.6W/kg. The SAR level listed in our charts represents the highest SAR level with the phone next to the ear as tested by the FCC. Keep in mind that it is possible for the SAR level to vary between different transmission bands and that different testing bodies can obtain different results. Also, it’s possible for results to vary between different editions of the same phone (such as a handset that’s offered by multiple carriers).

I’m really amazed with Nokia… They always have a different headset that comes with the phone.
So if you have 3 Nokia Phones (like me, i have the Nokia 6233, Nokia N82, and Nokia n78 -for trial), you’ll end up having 3 headsets… But if all your phones uses the same type of connector then you’ll just have to bring one headphone. If not, then you are tied up of bringing the appropriate headphone.
But there’s another solution!
Majority of the Nokia phones that I’ve seen or used are made in China…

Why? Hmmmm.. That’s easy to answer.. Low cost of production.
The N95 and N78 that I reviewed are both Made in China - even if they came all the way from London. My Nokia N82 is also made in China. I went to some stores selling Nokia phones and checked where it was manufactured and all 6 phones - yes all - are made from china.
Is this a cause of alarm for consumers? Or is it something to be happy about?
Why be alarmed? Fake mobile phones are mostly (if not all) manufactured from China. And now it’s commonly known as China phones.
So the question, are we sure that we’re getting the real Nokia Phone? =p And also, how is the quality compared to those made in other countries?
I bought my dream phone a couple of days ago. It’s the cheapest I can find in the market. I had a hard time looking for one because I wanted the Black edition which is still quite limited.
The beauty of the N82 would be best appreciated on the inside – it’s rich features - rather than its physical appearance. You won’t be wowed by the looks of this Nseries device from Nokia. It’s a normal candy bar phone with a 2.4 inch screen and a small keypad. The two stereo speakers are on the right side. The most priced possession of the N82 lies at its rear, the 5.0 mega pixel camera with Carl Zeiss Optics and Tessar® lens accompanied by a Xenon flash and AF assist lamp (which illuminates objects in the dark and helps the camera to adjust automatically for better images). And because of this, the N82 is the phone to beat on almost all website reviews that I have read.
Four lucky bloggers have been chosen to travel the globe packed with a Nokia N82.
Its like Amazing Race or should i say.. Amazing N82.. Their objectives are clear:
Its that simple.. Nokia calls it the Urbanista Diaries.
Why didn’t Nokia pick me? hahahah
Just bought my own Nokia N82!
My current dream phone… 5 megapixel with carl zeiss optics and zenon flash.. WHOAH!
And i got the BLACK EDITION! looks coooooool!
I had a hard time looking for a CHEAP N82 and the BLACK Edition. Most stores that we’ve asked said they haven’t seen it yet.. while some said its not yet out in the market.
